Zayn Malik, also known as Zayn Javadd Malik was born on January, 12 1993 and is known mononymously as Zayn. He is an English songwriter and singer, who was born and raised in West Yorkshire. Zayn in 2010 auctioned as a solo contestant for the British music competition The X Factor, where he was eliminated as a solo performer, it was later that he was brought back again into the competition , along with four other contestants, in order to form a boy band. This band was later known as One Direction. Zayn left the gang in March 2015 and signed a solo recording contract subsequently with RCA Records.
Later Zayn adopted more of an alternative B*B music style with his debut studio album Mind and Mine, released in 2016, having its lead single as Pillowtalk, he became the first British male artist to debut at number one in both the US and UK, with debut album and debut single. Zayn is also a receiver of several trophies, awards and recognitions, which include an American Music Award, TV Video Music Award and Billboard Music Award. Icarus Falls, his second album was released in December 2018. Zayn is also known to have spread his career in fashion in 2016, with his debut on The Business of Fashion’s annual, which profiles the most influential people in fashion.
